    • Taking positions only when a response from those with opposing opinions is permitted and a two thirds vote at any Council meeting is achieved.
    • Develop an ACS Leadership Development course on “Communicating with the Public”.
  • Diversity: all who work in the sciences need to be welcomed into the ACS on a level playing field.
  • Education: Come up with a viable plan to aid educators by collaboration with educators and ACS leadership.
  • Governance: In favor of removing the requirement to national committees of being a councilor.
  • Local Sections: In favor of assisting Local Sections in holding Strategic Planning Retreats and acquiring tax-exempt status if they do not have it.
  • ACS Vision:
    • Want to see a “Bottom to Top” rebuilding using member input collected at Town Hall meetings so the Society is built with their needs and vision in mind.
    • Eliminate obstacles that hinder agile decisions and actions by the Society.
    • Eliminate time wasting “specific” requirements included in Society bylaws
